New Developments at SBNW

Dear Patient,

There are some exciting new developments at Surgical Bariatrics Northwest that we are happy to share with our patients. Firstly, we have launched an interactive new website, www.surgicalbariatrics.com , that houses a multi-faceted Messageboard for our patients to communicate with each other as well as SBNW staff. This board allows patients to post questions and answers as well as develop surveys, share recipes, and keep up-to-date with the most current bariatric recommendations and guidelines. Also on this website we have developed a patient testimonial page. With a few clicks of your mouse you can post before and after pictures and give a brief description of your weight loss journey.  Trends show that people looking into weight loss surgery are most likely to view patient testimonials to get an idea of what they can expect. Posting your story may just help someone take the first step in changing their life! We would love each and every one of our patients to take this opportunity to share their experience.

Secondly, on our new website, we have created an Estore. With this Estore, patients can purchase YouFood, Surgical Bariatrics’ own nutritional line promoting smart nutrition for healthy living. You can also find a wide variety of protein and vitamin supplements to meet your pre and post surgical needs.

Finally, SBNW has hired two personal trainers to help our patients with an individualized exercise program. We also have weekly in-house yoga classes directed by our dietitian (and certified trainer) Kristi Flicker. And, with the warmer weather fast approaching, we will be launching a SBNW Walking group. Encompassing all aspects of fitness, SBNW wants to promote a healthy heart, body, and spirit. Our new fitness facility is located on the same floor as our office for convenience and continuity for our patients.

We look forward to reconnecting with each and every one of you through these exciting new programs. If you would like to learn more, please visit www.surgicalbariatrics.com or call us at (208) 262-0945.

Sincerely,
