Specialized Team

Surgical Bariatrics Northwest has developed a specialized staff to guide each of our patients through their weight loss surgery process with education and compassion. We have a well-rounded staff consisting of experienced physician assistants, nurses, registered dietitians, mental health specialists, personal exercise trainers, estheticians, insurance specialists, and caring front office personnel. We are committed to providing our patients with a well-rounded surgical experience.

Heather Young, Office Manager

My name is Heather Young.  I am the office manager at Surgical Bariatrics Northwest.  In the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of helping develop many aspects of our practice.  Currently, I manage the administrative portion of our program, and I am the best resource for all billing or insurance questions and concerns.

Brian Kazmierski, PA-C

Brian E. Kazmierski, PA-C graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science from the University of Washington School of Medicine.  He obtained his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies with a focus on General Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical College in 2001.  He has been with Surgical Bariatrics since September 1, 2001 and continues to provide excellent care for each of our patients.

Dianna Scott, RN

My name is Dianna Scott. I am a nurse here at Surgical Bariatrics Northwest. I have worked with excellent team for 3 years and I love what I do. As a nurse I get to be an important part of my patient’s journey to better health and wellness. Watching and guiding my patients down the path to reach their personal health goals is truly gratifying.

Kristi Flicker, Registered Dietitian & Personal Trainer

Kristi Flicker, RD graduated from the University of Idaho with a B.S. degree in Food and Nutrition. She has been offering nutritional counseling and education to our patients for over 2 years. Kristi has a passion for educating and motivating lifestyle change through nutrition and exercise.

Alyssa Bundy, Scheduler and Insurance Specialist 

My name is Alyssa Bundy. I am the surgery scheduler for Surgical Bariatrics. I have worked here for 9 years. I love what I do because, I get to be a part of helping people start a new beginning in their life. I am so thankful to be a part of such a great team.
