Weight Loss Surgery has changed my life in just one short year. Before surgery, I weighed 252 pounds, had high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and shortness of breath from severe asthma. When I first talked to my husband about having gastric bypass surgery, he was completely opposed to it. We had not been together very long and he thought I just lacked the will to stick to a diet. Thanks to Dr. Pennings and his wonderful staff I am now 141 lbs lighter and it's been 2 1/2 years and still staying off. I feel wonderful and very thankfull for my "new life". I am 2 1/2 years out and 130 pounds down, and I have NEVER felt better. I have more energy, and just plain feel better about being me. I have had zero problems or concerns since my surgery. I have lost 95lbs in 6 mths and can't believe how my life has changed. I didn't think I'd ever be this size in my whole life!
