Hair loss is very common after surgery, and should be expected. Dont worry it will grow back :)

Deficiencies causing hair loss include
- IRON
- ZINC
- PROTEIN

Protein is essential in maintaining your hair. Make sure you are meeting your protein goals. Typically between 75-90 grams per day.
Also making sure you are taking your vitamins/minerals.

How to take vitamins - start 3 weeks after surgery

Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Patients:
Multi-vitamins 2/day
B12 1/day
Iron 1/day take seperate from calcium (Men dont need supplement unless told by Dr.)
Calcium Citrate 1200-1500mg taken in 3 seperate doses / day
Band patients:
Vitaband Multi-vitamins 2/day
